it is scary how many people don’t know what the UK is or the countries it consists of… the amount of confusion is crazy.

happens to me all the time.. switzerland / sweden / swaziland.. people don’t get it :3 one time I got asked if switzerland is about the same size as america..

  9. for-the-love-of-a-unicorn said: Americans, as a whole, are shockingly ignorant. It’s better among residents of big cities where they’re more likely to encounter people from other countries, but otherwise, the rest of the world just kind of gets lumped into “out there.” It is scary.
